Orange Moon: A Haven For Black Women Who Are Free

To know Orange Moon, is to know the richness of black womanhood.

Nestled in the West End is this beautiful, cooperative living space.

I got to capture this tribe of women who have called this sanctuary home.

They are farmers, community organizers, earth-advocates, students, artists, mothers, entrepreneurs, travelers.

They are each in their own right revolutionary.

Grateful. Grateful. Grateful.

To have connected with each and every one of these women.

For a girl who's never experienced the sacredness of sisterhood, thank you for showing me it's magnitude. And thank you for enveloping me in like you do the community so effortlessly.

Thank you for being an example of what freedom looks and feels like.
