Grateful
for the delicious time spent on Sapelo Island, GA, gathered with a group of beautiful and radical folk, loving on a mommy-to-be in ritual. I was invited to capture some elements of the Blessing Way as well as a maternity shoot. Beyond the collaboration and beautiful art that was made, it felt safe and refreshing to be wrapped in the love of the waters and each other, to be fed by the beautiful herbalist, chef, and land steward, Teena Myers, and to move at the pace of the island collectively. Presence. That's what this space called me into, deep presence. How simpler the chaos we call reality could be.
